Biography
Ashton Baptiste is a USSF “D” Licensed coach with over 20 year of coaching experience. A native of Trinidad & Tobago, he moved to the U.S. nearly 40 years ago to pursue college soccer in Philadelphia. Based in Orlando, FL region, he is currently the Head Coach of United Premeir Soccer League Inter Orlando. Ashton also holds his NSCAA Premier license as well as a La Liga Level 3 licence.
He is the NACTM Orlando Director and is one of the most respected head coaches in the region. He has played for several clubs in the Orlando area including Islanders FC, T.G. Express, and Cool Runnings. He also spent time playing in Philadelphia with clubs including Hunters SC, Caribbean Strykers, Edison FC, Yeadon Palace, and T&T FC.
In 2018, he led his High School to the state championship and built the program within four years. He has coached for Golden Goal Soccer Academy, Foundation Academy, and the Orlando City Soccer Club where he led youth summer and winter camps.
