NACTM Alum Jonathan Godette lands contract with club in Denmark

NACTM Alumni Jonathan Godette scored his first goal with his new club Boldklubben Frem of Coppenhagen in Denmark.

North America Caribbean Training Method alumni and U-23 Trinidad & Tobago national team player, Jonathan Godette, has landed a professional contract with Boldklubben Frem, a club based in Coppenhagen in Denmark. Godette who started playing soccer at the age of 4 in QuickFeet Soccer for Kids, a program launched by NACTM Camp Director Justin Reid in 2006, excelled at several clubs thereafter including the Patuxent Football Academy where NACTM Director of Coaching Myron Garnes is currently the Technical Director. Godette would later play for the D.C. United Academy prior to attending Mount St. Mary’s University for a year.

We reached out to Godette via WhatsApp and asked him about his experience playing professionally thus far and he replied, “It was a long journey to get here, many ups and downs, but I am grateful to have had so many great coaches and support along the way. When I left college to pursue my dream of becoming a professional player, I knew that it would be a challenge but when I met Kephern Fuller at Joga FC in the Netherlands who helps U.S. based players pursue professional playing careers, I knew that I was on the right path.”

On November 25th, Godette scored his first professional goal for the club.
